On the morning of June 19, Professor Qiao Shiyan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a professor at the College of Animal Science and Technology of China Agricultural University, and director of the National Feed Engineering Technology Research Center, along with Associate Professor Wu Yi from China Agricultural University and other experts, paid a field visit to Ronsy Pet Food Co., Ltd.
Accompanied by Zhang Hui, General Manager of RONSY, Academician Qiao and his delegation first visited the company’s production workshop. They had an up-close look at RONSY’s advanced production equipment and process flows. The workshop featured a clean and well-organized environment, with state-of-the-art, highly efficient equipment. From raw material processing and precise ingredient blending to high-temperature puffing, cooling and drying, and finally automated packaging, the entire process was seamlessly integrated, showcasing RONSY’s robust strength in large-scale, automated, and highly standardized production. It also highlighted RONSY’s remarkable achievements in technological innovation. Academician Qiao frequently paused to engage in in-depth discussions with us on issues such as equipment performance, production efficiency, and technological innovation, and he highly praised the company’s approach of leveraging technology to enhance production effectiveness.
Food-grade cleanroom
Academician Qiao also paid special attention to RONSY’s food-grade clean workshop, conducting a comprehensive inspection of the workshop’s air purification system, sterile operation procedures, and microbial monitoring system. From the cleaning and treatment of floors and walls to the management of airflow within the workshop, from staff operating protocols to real-time environmental monitoring, Academician Qiao examined every single detail thoroughly. He fully praised RONSY’s high standards and stringent requirements established in clean production, noting that these measures have reached an industry-leading level and firmly safeguarded food safety.
Rigorous quality inspection system
Quality and safety are the lifeline of pet food. During the visit, Academician Qiao also took a close look at RONSY’s raw materials and finished-product packaging. He asked in detail about RONSY’s raw-material procurement channels, supplier screening mechanisms, raw-material acceptance standards, and testing procedures. RONSY has always adhered to the principle of “controlling quality from the source and putting quality first,” establishing a rigorous supplier evaluation system and conducting multi-dimensional tests on every batch of raw materials to ensure that each ingredient—from farm to factory—is safe and reliable. Moreover, RONSY has deployed FOSS near-infrared spectrometers throughout its entire production chain to monitor the entire process in real time, rigorously testing the moisture, protein, fat, and other components of raw materials as well as the nutritional indicators of finished products. By dynamically calibrating production parameters, RONSY ensures that the nutritional composition of each batch precisely matches the formulated recipe, effectively guaranteeing product quality. RONSY’s implementation of a batch-number management system enables full traceability of each product, thus fulfilling its commitment to transparency and quality. Academician Qiao expressed his appreciation for these efforts, emphasizing that high-quality raw materials are the foundation for producing premium pet food, and he hopes that RONSY will continue to maintain its stringent control over raw-material quality.
Packaging Environmental Innovation
In the packaging product display area, Academician Qiao carefully examined the packaging designs and materials of RONSY’s various product lines, gaining an understanding of the safety, environmental friendliness, and innovative aspects of the packaging processes. He pointed out that while ensuring the practicality of packaging, it is also crucial to pay attention to the cultural significance of packaging design and consumer needs, thereby enhancing product added value and market competitiveness through innovative packaging.
