As the “Hometown of China’s Pet Food Industry” and the “Industrial Capital of China,” Nanhe District holds a significant position in the national pet food industry. From 2021 to 2024, the e-commerce market for pet food in Nanhe achieved an average annual compound growth rate of 13.1%. From January to September 2025, the pet food industry cluster in the district generated operating revenue of 14.75 billion yuan, representing an 8.6% year-on-year increase. Currently, the number of pet-related market entities in Nanhe District has exceeded 938, providing employment for over 33,000 people. The industry cluster’s operating revenue has surpassed 18.9 billion yuan, and its pet food production and sales account for approximately 60% of the national market share.

As one of the top ten pet food manufacturers in China, Ronsy Pet Food has leveraged the rapid growth benefits of the industry and the advantages of the Nanhe industrial cluster to become a comprehensive pet food enterprise integrating R&D, production, and sales. During this research visit, a delegation from the China Feed Industry Association conducted an in-depth study of Ronsy’s development journey spanning more than two decades by combining “on-site visits with a retrospective look at its evolution.” They toured the production floor and visited the company’s exhibition hall, gaining a thorough understanding of Ronsy’s development trajectory. The delegation also expressed their appreciation for the synergistic advantages of Ronsy and the Nanhe pet food industry cluster.
